Margaret Carr is an Associate Professor at the University of Waikato School of Education in New Zealand. She is an Officer of New Zealand Order of Merit for services to early childhood. Her current projects include research for the NZ Ministry of Education in the Early Childhood Learning and Assessment Exemplar Project; Centres of Innovation Programme and Key competencies: connections across the early years:
