The NSCCA is very interested in recruiting student members. We believe that students in the child care field are the future of the profession, and are therefore important components of any professional group. Becoming a member of a professional association also provides many advantages to students.

Student Programs
In order to make involvement in the NSCCA easy and valuable to students, the NSCCA offers several special services to students in Early Childhood Care and Education certificate, diploma or degree programs. These Include:

Volunteer opportunities -- The NSCCA offers several volunteer positions to students every year. It's a great way to get involved, build your resume, and make career connections. Student volunteers also receive one year free membership as recognition.

Student Invites to PD sessions-- Periodically, the NSCCA extends an invitation to non-member students to attend specific professional development activities. This is a great way to gain training, and improve your expertise on important issues you will face as a child care practitioner.
